Way to go Got-your-back Chloe; telling Lois like it is!  Great lines delivered by Chloe to Lois about how she'll only slow him down, and if she really loves him she'll leave him.

And Lois saying she has to LEAVE SMALLVILLE; Awesome! but -
--the SV Writers created a perfect opportunity to get scared-little-girl Lois out of SV & let LnC'ers still eat their future-cake.Why'd they have to blow it?

Other than the very flat, fake, forced, and really dumb cloisy moments that just never look like they belong there (as if someone added them in as an afterthought), I thought the rest of the show and ALL of the characters were awesome! -- well ....except Clark was a little limp :\

I just find it really hard to understand how anyone can actually FEEL anything for clois, let alone consider it hot? They are about as entertaining as a dead fish. Clois is a waste of time, and a distraction from the main thrust of the story.... dare I say worse than Clana?

I wish to publicly thank Messena and FireBunny for your recent posts:

FB: The LEXMAS screen caps and BTS pics remind me of the REAL love, that special irreplaceable connection that exists(existed) between Chloe and Clark. Thanks for that.

Messena: Thanks for posting the section of Craig's book with Holly's comments. I had wondered for a long time just what it said. It pretty much challenges/contradicts the evidence Cloisers gave as proof that Chlois was never a consideration.

Unfortunately I just can't seem to find that deep desire I used to have for Smallville.

I think I have lost my faith in the writers,

And if the Internet cloisers are a sampling of humanity in general, then I have lost my faith in humanity as well.

Thank God for my husband, my other family members, and the small circle of Intelligent friends. Happy to not be alone.

Hey! I'm still getting the hang of this LJ stuff and I just want to let y'all know that I HAVE REPLIED to some of your posts. PROBLEM BEING I AM OFTEN A DAY OR TWO (or more) LATE. :(

Do ppl ever check back on their older posts for any new replies, or should I just figure the moment has passed and move on?

watching more muted scenes.... this one qualifies for R-rated. ;) LOL: I'm dying here!:D

Does anyone want to take a shot at a dialog re-write for this???

NOTE:If the stupid "Play Button" doesn't work,
use controls at bottom under the screen:

Aw, c'mom! ....The way they edited these intro scenes for "KANDOR":

... Who doesn't think it looked like he was going for CHloe there? (I think it was intentional.)

Because, as we know, CHloe Is what Clark really wants.:D

FAV slice of Ep7's Intro:

NOTE: "Play Button" doesn't work.
Use controls at bottom under the screen:

Why I'm still in love with THE IDEA of Smallville, even though the series itself has sort of dropped off that pedestal.

They SHOW me the BLACK SMUDGES on the series everywhere:

The BLACK "S"'s
The BLACK MARKS on Clark's character (yes there's even a screencap of Clark with a "Mark Black" nameplate)see it under my cut.

They have given us a "larger than life" set for our heroine, Chloe (and keep stressing how much her life SUCKS):

• A set which from this view looks an awful lot like a giant baby bottle…. or phallic symbol, either one, it's the same reference.:\

At this point, if they told me CHlark was endgame, I could believe them, but I wouldn't trust them. But if I KNEW Chlark was endgame I could actually sit back and enjoy Clark and Lois' silly antics for now.

There are 2 and ONLY 2 possible scenarios these writers could give me that would make me believe what's going on with Clois;

There have been several clues that have made me think things are a bit "off" right now, as I'm sure a lot of you have noticed. And, as I mentioned before there are several instances where Clark's been acting very similar to the way Bizarro acted in Persona. Once I learned more about the Eradicator, I've really begun to see it making some sense, if that is the direction the writers have taken it.
Looking at it from another perspective, I could see Clark's fear of Chloe's completely selfless love for him overriding her own self-preservation instinct. In other words, he loves her so dearly that he is distancing himself from her hoping to keep her from ever attempting to sacrifice her life for his again. (She has willingly done so at least 3 times now; when she used her power to save Lex and subsequently Clark from death, again when she attempted to save his life in the ep.Odyssey, and lastly, when she chose spending her life with a destructive alien monster in order to keep Clark safe. Could ya see Lois doing that?).

---In this case choosing someone who is SELFISH instead of selfless makes some sense for Clark ----And Lois has proved herself to be very selfish. Lois makes it a point to tell Clark how selfish she is time and time again. This would translate to "Lois would NOT sacrifice her own life for his", and thus Clark doesn't have any reason to feel guilty about entering into a relationship with her. Also by not knowing his secret she is, in theory, further removed from any danger.

But does that make them soulmates? Hardly. :\
